Shade Shirt

Our Shade Shirt fabric is part of our continuous experimentation with the performance of natural fibers. Does your ultra-stretch polyester UV shirt leave something to be desired? We built ours from a breezy, traditional linen-style weave, with a more formal shirt profile from a timeless era. The Shade Shirt features our signature internal double-layered elbows and two oversized pleated chest pockets with USA-made snaps.

These quality threads are 55% hemp and 45% cotton, and are certified organic. It is a midweight fabric at 12 oz, and is a loose weave. It is tough but soft, and will continue to soften with use and washes. Our Shade Shirt is available in Verdant Green and Khaki, with a sun hood or a traditional folding collar. Fabric is washed and dried but will shrink slightly with high heat tumbling. Recommended hang dry. Order one size up for shrink-to-fit, or order true to size for low heat tumble/hang dry.
